Today, we take a drive to Kathmandu along the scenic Trishuli river route. You can also take a direct flight to Kathmandu as per your preference. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

From LwangGhalel, we catch a vehicle which takes us back to Pokhara city. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Today we retrace our journey back. We descend down to the Low Base Camp and pass the dense forest to Mardi Khola. We further walk through beautiful Gurung and Tamang villages and pass Siding village to Lwang. On the way, we will pass through beautiful views of rice fields and forests. Overnight at a guesthouse in Lwang.

Today is an exciting day of our journey. We wake up early in the morning under the backdrop of beautiful Himalayas. The glorious sunrise amidst the Himalayan panorama is spectacular. We take our breakfast and get set for our climb to Mardi Himal Base Camp which rises tall at the height of 4500m. Though exciting, our climb can be quite challenging. We walk along the narrow and rocky trails but the climb will be worth it. The fantastic views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, Kang, Khangsar and Macchapucchre from the top is rewarding. After reaching the top and applauding the beauty of mountains, we descend down to the High Camp for overnight stay.

Our destination next is High Camp. Our journey for the day is quite short but full of adventure and glorious views. On the way, we will be blessed with some appreciable views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Khangsar and Tare Kang. As we reach the High camp, we enjoy our lunch and rest for the other part of the day. Overnight at High Camp.

Today, we start ascending up to Badal Dada. As we ascend up, we can feel the vegetation growing thinner and thinner. The birch, oak and rhododendron trees are slowly replaced by fern trees, lichens and mosses. As we pass the forest, we can catch a glimpse of Himalayan panorama through the gaps in between the trees which is truly an amazing experience. As we reach Badal Dada, we can see some admirable views of mountains with the sensual breeze blowing on the Dada. Overnight at a guesthouse in Badal Dada

Today, we climb uphill through the jungles with the beautiful views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges for most of time. As we pass through the dense jungle, we can get a glimpse of some birds and animals living inside it. We can see animals like leopard, deer, monkeys and many other if lucky. We continue our walk until we reach forest camp which would be our halting point for the day. Overnight at a guesthouse in forest camp.

After the breakfast, we take a short drive to Phedi, from where we start our actual trekking journey. We walk along the terraced farmlands, villages and rhododendron forests to Pothana. On the way, we can get some glimpse of PhewaLake too. As we reach Pothana, we will be blessed with some wonderful views of mountains in Annapurna region. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Pothana

Today, we take an early flight to Pokhara. After around thirty five minutes flight, we will find ourselves at the airport in Pokhara. You will be transferred to the hotel for check in. After lunch and rest, you will be guided to some beautiful places of Pokhara for sightseeing. Walk along the PhewaLake and enjoy boating. Visit a temple in between the lake and make your way to Gupteshwor temple, a famous Hindu temple in Pokhara. Your sightseeing tour is followed by visit to David’s fall and International Mountaineering museum. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

A representative from Nepal Vision Trek will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. As you check in the hotel, rest for a while and learn about your journey plans ahead. Spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Everest Base Camp Chola Pass Trekking in the Khumbu region is a lot more than just the extraordinary landscape; it’s a holistic experience that gives you the opportunity to learn more about the rich and dynamic culture of the legendary Sherpa people. The route parts from the usual Everest Base Camp Trek at Namche Bazaar as we head up the Dudh Koshi valley and deep into the ancient hidden heart of the Sherpa people. The power of nature is so apparent as we hike through the boulder fields left in the wake of the extraordinary Khumbu Glacier on our route to Everest Base Camp.

Everest Base Camp Chola Pass Trek - 18 Days

Time for your departure! Your adventure vacation in Nepal comes to an end today. A representative from Nepal Vision Trekking will transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport right on scheduled time (3 hours prior the flight time). Farewell!

Weather permitting, we take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu on day 17 (approx. 35 minutes). Once at Kathmandu, we will return back to the hotel and enjoy free time during afternoon for further sightseeing or shopping. There many shops at Thamel for clothing, embroidery, carpets or ceramics. If shopping is not what you want, then drive along the Bagmati River to the pioneer city of Patan. Here you can explore abundance of medieval temples and monasteries. We enjoy our final night together, celebrating at typical Nepali restaurant – reliving the trek and our great

You have done it; it’s the last day of your trek. The trial back to Lukla is festooned with prayer flags, Chortens, Mani Walls and Gompas; scattered throughout the villages. The roaring Dudh Koshi River gives you the vibe that it is hailing for your achievement to the base camp. On the way, bid final goodbye to Phakding. A gentle climb from Cheplung leads us to Lukla for the night.

After taking early morning Breakfast, we leave Dole with gradual descend passing small stone houses, rocky waterfalls and some huge boulders to Tongba. From here, the trail goes steeply upward in a zigzag manner leading us to the birth place of Lama SangeDorje. Then, we trek to Sanasa and finally walk along the rocky ridge till Namche. On reaching Namche, we will check into the lodge, before dinner and spend the rest of the night here.

Our trek stats right after taking breakfast in the early morning. Firstly, we will follow the lateral moraine of Ngozumpa till we reach Taujung Tso. Continuing from here, we will pass through Longponga Tso, and Phangga village. Ascending from the Phangga village to hilltop, we can see beautiful chortens in the route. Then, passing through Luza and Lhabarma with some random ascends and descends, we will reach ultimate destination for this day – Dole.

Today, the trek is comparatively shorter (for about 3 hours only) but more challenging. We will walk across the Ngozumpa glacier on today’s trek. Leaving Thagne, we will head towards a frozen lake and follow the trail that goes above the lake. The most challenging part of the trek is traversing Ngozumpa glacier. After crossing this, we will descend down to Gokyo valley to spend the night

Early morning, as we get out of teahouse, we will see the magnificent sight of Cholatse looming over. Today is going to be the toughest day of our trip. Today we start through spur extending westward form Dzongla. The trail drops down to a basin across which flows a babbling stream crusted with ice at places. In about an hour, we reach the top of basin and continue towards Cho La

An early start is needed to avoid mid-morning cloud and witness sunrise view. It takes several hours through ice pinnacles and crevasses of the Khumbu glaciers to reach Kalapatthar. As we reach the top at 5,545m, our eyes take in the unbelievable Himalayan Panorama, wandering from one mighty massif to another. On descending journey, we take a higher route to get a stunning view of Khumbu ice-fall and the South Col route. We trek to Dzongla via Lobuche.

After breakfast, we take a 2 hours hike up to Gorakshep. The initial part is easy and fair but after one hour, the trial gets harder; but the views keeps pushing you. Once we rise 150m up, the trail then gets better again. Soon we will get to the moraine and a short walk takes us to Gorak Shep, the world’s highest settlement (5,180m).

Once we take lunch, we start our hike to Everest Base Camp. We will walk on the side ridge of Khumbu glacier. After one and half hour, we cross the glacier and reach the Everest Base Camp at 5,364m. Here we will meet and intract with mountain climbers. We can enjoy the magnificent view of Khumbu Glacier and Khumbu Ice fall. After some magical moments, we start our way back to

Rise gently to the ridge and the settlement of Duse (4,500m) with the western views of Taboche and Cholatse. Walk through Kharkas to Duglha (4,620m) before climbing to the large stony terminal moraine of Khumbu Glacier. Here you will discover the stone memorials dedicated to the climbers who were perished during Everest summit. The Mahalangur Himal massif – Khumbutse, Lingtren and Pumori borders to the north. But the Everest hides on the imposing Nuptse-Lhotse wall.

Today is second scheduled acclimatization day in Everest Base Camp Trek. To acclimatize: climb north to the Nagkartshang Gompa ridge (4,800m) to gaze the view of Nuptse Glacier, Chhukhung Ri (4,230m, which feds Lhotse’s glacier) and Imja Tse (6,189m). To the east along the Mahalangur Himal is imposing Makalu (8,463m) and to the south is Amphu Lapcha’s fluted ridge (5,845m) and Ama Dablam and its glaciers. Retrace your step back to Dingboche.

After breakfast, climb down to the scattered stone village of Debuche (3,820m) dotted with a nunnery. Cross the Imja Khola to the north and climb gently to Pangboche (3,860m) with imposing view of Ama Dablam (6,856m). Later the trial follow the river and climbs to Dingboche: the last year round settlement in Khumbu. You can see a walled terraced fields with barely, buckwheat and potatoes grown on short growing season.  Wall protects the farms from icy winds and gazing Yaks

The trail to Tengboche goes in and out of side valleys with minors ups and downs, to the teashops of Kenjoma and joins the trail from Khumjung just before the Mani stones. The views of Everest and Ama Dablam are superb on the way. We walk across the small settlement of Sansa and drop towards Phunkithanga (3,250m). From here, the trail make a steep ascend through pine forest and Mani stones to Tengboche Monastery (3,870m). The view from here is extra ordinary: Kwangde (6,187m), Tawachee (6,542m), Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku.

Acclimatization is very significant before heading higher to avoid the altitude sickness. We will make a day hike through the village of Khunde and Khumjung and trace back to Namche through the Everest View Hotel. At Khumjung, we visit Hillary School and local monastery which houses the scalp of Yeti. We also visit the restaurants and bakery at world’s highest altitude. We get to admire the view of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and many more (subject to clear weather). The view from Everest view Hotel is extra ordinary.

From Namche, we make steep one hour climb to Syangboche airstrip (3,790m) and then descend gradually to Khunde passing numerous chorten (stone Buddhist monuments), From Khunde, we walk east to Khumjung, the largest village in Khumbu nestled at the base of sacred Khumbila peak. After lunch, we make a gradual climb to Everest hotel and then descend down to Namche

After breakfast, we start our second day of trek through Dudhkoshi River valley. We cross the high suspension five times festooned with prayer flags on the way to Namche. After we cross the last suspension bridge, we make steep climb to Jorsale and eventually to Namche Bazaar. From Jorsale, we enter the Sagarmatha National Park where we get our permits checked. It takes 2 and half hours to climb up to Namche with two view points on the way.

Today we board a flight to Lukla early in the morning. It takes 30 minutes to reach Lukla airport. Once in Lukla, we will meet our porters and take a breakfast. Then we begin our first day’s walk to Phakding, a fairly easy 3 hours walk through the Dudh Koshi Valley. We will walk north from the airstrip to Chheplung (2,700m). Here we will cross suspension bridge over Thado Khosi River: gradually Kusum and Kanggru (6,367m) comes into view. Next the trail rises a bit towards Ghat (2,590m) and cross a ridge marked with painted Mani Stones before climbing to Phakding.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our airport representative will welcome and escort you to the hotel. After hotel check-in, you can either rest or stroll around the street of Thamel. Evening: introduction to your guide and check necessities.

Getting up in the early morning, we will hike to Gokyo Ri to observe the outstanding mountain vistas and alluring surrounding. The top of the Gokyo Peak is marked vibrant flags that are always flapping with the moving air. This vantage point offers captivating panoramas of Cho-Oyu, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse and Tabuche. You will spend some precious moments in the summit of GokyoRi, and then trek back to Gokyo valley for overnight stay. 
If the time permits, you can explore the village, the local people, rural lifestyle and the traditions and cultures of the local people residing in Gokyo Valley.

Situated at 2,874 meters, Ghorepani village is one of the most beautiful villages in the lower Annapurnas. The village is mostly inhabited by Gurung and Magars. You will get to see their lifestyle and culture. Poon Hill is located at 3,210 meters. This place offers a gorgeous sunrise and breathtaking views of green hills backed up by snow-capped mountains at a distance. During the 9 Days Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, we will be trekking through verdant forests of rhododendrons and quaint villages.

Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek

Follow a steep stone stairway up the ridgeline. The trail then goes through terraced fields and lush forests of oak & rhododendron. Passing by Ulleri, you reach Nangethanti and ascend to Ghorepani. From Ghorepani, you can see stunning snow-capped Himalayan mountains.

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek begins from Nayapul that can be reached after around an hour's drive from Pokhara. From Nayapul, the trail gradually ascends through fields of maize, millet, and rice. You will reach Birethanti, and further, pass by a waterfall. The trail then takes you to Sudami and move towards Tikhedhunga.

Leave Ghandruk and descend through the forested path to Nayapul. From here, drive back to Pokhara. You will spend the rest of the day in Pokhara. Visit nearby tourist areas and explore the Lakeside Market.

Saying goodbye is always hard, especially when you get the taste of this wonderful Himalayan nation. However, with all goodbyes come news hellos, and we look forward to that. Hope to explore the Himalayas again with you. Until that, our airport representative will assist you with check-out and drop you at the airport.

Follow the same scenic route and drive back to Kathmandu. Today is your last day in Kathmandu, so do the shopping and visit the remaining monuments. The evening ends with a delicious farewell dinner organized by the company.

Following a well-made road, enjoying views of rivers, green hills, terraced fields, and waterfalls, you will reach Pokhara. You also have the alternative to fly to Pokhara or if you want to get extra, then raft to Pokhara. Either way, the views will be exceptional.

We take a rest day in Khare and enjoy the snowy views all around us. We hike to some nearby places and return to our lodge. Our team leader will give us pre-climbing training and teach us to use climbing gears. It's an easy day.

We cross Zatrwa La pass. From Thuli Kharka, we ascend along a rugged route and reach the top of the pass that offers outstanding scenery. From here, we descend to Lukla, where we'll spend the night in a comfortable lodge.

Leaving Khare, we descend to Kothe. The trail is the same as back, with stunning mountain landscapes and pastures.

We wake up around 1:00 Am and begin climbing towards the summit of Mera Peak at 6,461 meters. The reason for starting walking towards the summit almost at midnight is to reach the summit on time and avoid strong winds in the afternoon. During climbing, we use ropes, ice axes, and other climbing gears. From the summit, its heavenly views of the Himalayas. We then gradually descend to Khare to spend the night

The trail ascends along a steep boulder-strewn path to Mera Peak Base Camp. From here, we follow a rocky trail and cross numerous small crevasses to the Mera Peak High Camp. The high camp offers breathtaking mountain views of Makalu, Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Baruntse, and many others. We spend the night in a tent

It's a short trek from Kothe to Thaknak. The trail ascends to the ridge of Hinku Khola. At Gondishung, we pass by a summer settlement, located on the western bank of Hinku Drangka. On the way, we pass by an ancient gompa, which is more than 200 years old. Further, we walk through grazing sites and reach Thaknak.

From Chhatra Khola, the trail ascends north and joins the main path to Mera Peak. Following the Majang river, we walk on the route that leads to Hinku Khola. From here, we continue the trek towards Tashing Ongma and pass by a few seasonal tea houses. We then cross a bridge over Sanu Khla and finally reach Kothe

After an ascent and descent, we walk on an uphill route that leads to Ramailo Danda, which offers stunning views of Mera Peak. After a few ups & downs, we enter the Makalu Barun National Park and walk on the Pasang Lhamu trail to Chhatra Khola. Keep your eyes wide open because you may come across a red panda in the woods while trekking.

The trail from here crosses Panggom La pass and ascends gradually to Ningsow. On the way, we cross Peseng Kharka river and climb to Peseng Kharka danda. Further, we cross the Ningsow river and reach the Ningsow village for a night's stay.

From Paiya, the trail descends until it reaches a small bridge. Cross the bridge, we ascend to Kari La pass. Further, we walk through a dense forest of bamboo and rhododendron. Enjoying the beautiful views of Dudh Kosi Valley, we trek and reach Panggom.

We have planned a guided sightseeing tour today. For the tour, you visit the Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later, we prepared for the trip. There will be a short briefing season from our climbing guide, and we do the packing in duffel bags. We double-check all the gears and make sure everything is fine.

We meet you at the international airport terminal gate on your arrival day. After a short meet and greet, our team will escort you to the hotel. Check in the hotel and take your time to freshen up. There's nothing planned today, so you can stroll in the bustling streets of Thamel later in the

After breakfast, fly to Lukla airport. It's a thrilling flight with great mountain views. The trail then heads towards Paiya. We walk through a forest and cross a bridge over Handi Khola. From Surke village, we trek and cross Chutok la pass and descend to Paiya, a small settlement area.

We have an extra day in case we see bad weather or other circumstances and couldn't push to the summit as per the itinerary. If we reach the summit and come back to Kathmandu on time, we'll have an extra day in the city to explore

We ascend and descend to Hinku Khola. Further, the trail passes by beautiful chortens and descends to Thuli Kharka. This place is known for fantastic views of mountains all around it.

After an early morning, we come back to Kathmandu. It is the last day in Kathmandu, so do if you have anything on your list. Go shopping and eat your heart out in one of the many eateries in Thamel. We meet for the last time over a farewell dinner in the evening today.

As the trip has ended, we will drop you at the airport today as your flight departure time. Make sure to properly pack all of your belongings and do not forget anything in the hotel.

Everest View Trek

Today is the final day and we get ready for the departure. We offer you the facility to drop at the Tribhuvan International Airport. We exchange final greetings and wishes and hope to see each other next time as well. We wish pleasant journey and bid the final goodbye.

We take a flight back to Kathmandu and upon reaching Kathmandu we might roam around the city for some souvenir shopping. We organize farewell dinner for you and celebrate the successful completion of trek and exchange final greetings and wishes and prepare for final departure.

We take the rocky trail downward toward Dudh Koshi river. Upon crossing the river we head towards Lukla crossing Monjo (Sagarmatha National Park entry and exit). Walking downhill and crossing the suspension bridge over Bhote Koshi river, we walk ahead to Phakding. From Phakding we catch the trail uphill until finally reaching Lukla. Upon reaching Lukla we give a rest to our aching body and spend the night in a lodge.

The trek passes through brightly coloured rhododendron trees and juniper trees. Walking ahead we cross Dudh Koshi river and pine forests, enjoying mountainous views along the way. We then reach Namche Bazar and stay there overnight.

We start the walk through the trail with some up and down movements. Passing through stones carved with Buddhist prayer, we then head towards Sanasa village enjoying the white beauty of Mount Everest and Ama Dablam along the way. The downhill trail takes us to the Phunki Thanga and then the uphill trail leads to the Tengboche village. Once, reaching Tengboche we get to visit the most famous and largest monastery in the Khumbu region called Tengboche monastery. We conclude the day’s trek at Tengboche.

We take the uphill trail to sangboche village and then downhill trail to Khumjung. Moving ahead, we pass through Buddhist monasteries and numerous small Buddhist stupas before reaching Khumjung. Khumjung is the largest village in Khumbu region. Rich traditional lifestyle and cultural practice can be observed along the way. The village lies at the bottom of Mount Khumbila. The magnetic view of Mount Everest can be viewed from the village. We stay overnight in the village.

We stay for a day at Namche Bazar to adjust with the altitude condition. Namche Bazar is the main market area of the region with small local tea houses, restaurants, shops and trading areas around. We explore the areas observing the traditional and cultural Sherpa life. We can also choose to hike to Sagarmatha National Park from where the beautiful sight of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and others can be visible. Rare species of flora and fauna can be spotted along the way. We end the day thus and get a good night’s sleep in a hotel at Namche Bazar.

We walk the trail passing through pine forest and crossing Dudh Koshi River. We then reach the entrance to Everest National Park. Moving ahead, we reach Namche Bazar, the famous Sherpa village. From Namche Bazar, we can have sight of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. We spend the night at Namche Bazar.

The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla lets you enjoy the beauty of green hills with a background of snowy mountain peaks. The trek begins from Lukla and we head towards Phakding passing through Cheplung village enjoying the sight of Mount Khumbila. We stay for the night at Phakding.

We offer you a short trip to historical and cultural sites around Kathmandu valley: Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Pashupatinath temple. You can also do some souvenir shopping during the sightseeing. After sightseeing, we head back to the hotel and get our clothing and trekking equipment ready and prepare for the trek.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we offer you pick up facility from the airport and manage your stay at the most comfortable hotel in the city. You get to meet the team of trekkers and together we prepare for the trek. At the evening we offer you lavish welcome dinner with authentic Nepali Cuisine.

The Island Peak climb is an ideal choice for all those who love mountain climbing and are seeking for the start. Climbing Island Peak is relatively easier and best for beginners. In this journey, first, you will be going for the trek starting from Lukla and all the way to Chhukung village before climbing the peak.

Island Peak Climb - 16 Days

We organize farewell dinner for you and celebrate the successful completion of trek and exchange final greetings and wishes.

We can see prayer flags, mani walls and chhortens all along the way. Walking downhill and crossing the suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi river, we walk ahead to Phakding. We can see number of peaks in the backdrop. From Phakding we catch the trail uphill until finally reaching Lukla. Upon reaching Lukla we give a rest to our aching body and spend the night in a lodge

We walk ahead from Pangboche through the downhill trail towards the Imja river. The walk then takes us through the rhododendron and pine forests and towards the Tengboche village. Further ahead, we cross the suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi river and take the trail ahead towards the village called Sansa. We continue walking ahead until finally reaching Namche Bazaar. We spend the night at Namche Bazaar.

We take the downhill walk through the valley and passing Khumbu river We walk ahead through the Sherpa villages and head ahead towards Pangboche village. We visit the oldest monastery in the village and finally reach the Pangboche village. From there you get to view the beauty of mountain peaks as well as watch the flowing Imja river down below. Overnight at Pangboche.

We take the steep uphill trail from the base camp through the rocky path. Walking through the rocky areas we take the route through the moraine towards the summit. We make use of ropes whenever required. Our guides will be there to help you in scaling up. Enjoying the majestic view around, we climb further ahead, towards the peak. Upon reaching the summit the success of finally reaching the summit will leave you feeling elated and exhilarated. We take the pictures together and then head back to the base camp. We reflect on our days climb enjoy together and take a good night’s sleep at the base camp

Leaving Chhukung behind, today we will be reaching the Island Peak Base Camp. There will mostly be uphill climbing through the glacial trails. We begin the trek with uphill climb and after a while walk along the main ridge of the valley. The winding trail then takes us along the Lhotse glacier. We further walk ahead and cross the jig jag path that eventually will lead us to the South Western side of Island Peak. This is where the base camp lies. We will spend our night at the base camp.

We have yet another day for acclimatization. The increasing altitude requires acclimatization to adjust our body to the surrounding. We will be climbing the small and easy Chhukung Ri that is located right above the Chhukung village. The climb is relatively easy and will take around 3-4 hours. Reaching the summit will offer us the nice view of valley down below with the majestic view of Mount Ama Dablam and Amphu Labsa. After this, we will climb down and head back to Chhukung where we will be spending today’s night as well.

We leave Dingboche and head towards Chhukung today. We walk past the settlement areas enjoying the nice view of mountains around. The walk will take us to the fields surrounded by walls to keep off the cold strong winds and save the crops. The walk further continues and we reach Imja valley. From here, going further ahead, the trail passes through glacial moraines accompanied by the eye catching peaks like Mount Ama Daablam and Lhotse. We get the amazing sight of Island peak when we cross the Bibre village. Walking ahead, we head for Chhukung village which has small settlement. We enjoy the great sight of mountains around and will spend night at Chhukung.
