Stumbled across a cool sort of little park inside an old building called “Klosterruine” which had some cool nets you could sit on (featured in the photos), a cool tube you can lay in, and other fun little things! Berlin is really cool like that, you can find something to do pretty much anywhere. We spent the rest of the day exploring and finding cool spots to eat.

Ate dinner at this amazing chain italian restaurant called L’Osteria: best carbonara and aperol spritz I’ve ever had!! The pizza was amazing too, I think I would have loved anything I got there.

Today we went to see the Berlin wall which was a little further from the action than expected. We walked because we like to see what we can find along the way (its about the journey not the destination right?) but I’m sure you can get there by the metro as well. I will warn you the metro system is different than in america and its really hard to figure out where to buy tickets. There is no “scan your ticket and enter” place, they just have random checks on the train. The Berlin wall is amazing, there is so much art and it stretches for a long while, but not so much that it isn’t walkable. Since there is a lot to see, you shouldnt have too much trouble getting a picture in front of many of the murals.

Got brunch at this SUPER yummy cafe called Kaffee Karamell with this adorable outdoor seating area (pictured above).

Today we went to the top of the TV tower (pictured above)! You should definitely make reservations online ahead of time because it can get pretty busy in the summer. It is a great place to view Berlin from above and have some fancy cocktails in the sky🍸 If you’re ok with spending a little more money, you can also eat at their rotating restaurant for a panoramic view of berlin at sunset😍

Went to the mall of Berlin which was so much cooler than expected! The whole middle part is outdoors beneath this arch and theres a huge stage in the middle where there are little performances and activities (when we went there was a dance class going on). They also have a bunch of stores and the area surrounding the mall is fun to walk around as well

We checked out of our hotel and left today 😿

Berlin is a city full of art, culture, good food, and LOTS of people on bicycles. Its unlike any place I’ve ever been and I would definitely recommend visiting.
