The Crimson

The Maligne Canyon Icewalk Tour is one of the most popular and impressive Jasper icewalk adventures. Your trained SunDog tour guide will take you to the bottom of the Maligne Canyon – the deepest accessible canyon in Jasper National Park – where you will explore frozen waterfalls, ice caves, and incredible ice formations. You will learn about Jasper’s Maligne Valley, Karst topography, and the mystery of the “disappearing” Medicine Lake.

This Jasper icewalk tour is a great option for anyone who does not ski or snowboard. Or if you are in for the week, get a full morning in on the slopes and then head into the Canyon for the afternoon. The tour covers approximately 3.5 kms (2.1 miles) and is mostly downhill. Participants are required to dress appropriately for the weather. Pick-ups and drop-offs available from all Jasper accommodations.  Please indicate your shoe size when booking as warm boots ice cleats will be provided

Marmot Basin is an alpine ski area located on Marmot Mountain in Alberta's Jasper National Park. It has 91 named runs on four mountain faces with 3,000 vertical feet of drop. The area has a lift capacity of close to 12,000 skiers per hour on seven lifts. The season runs from mid-November to early May.

The Jasper Planetarium & Dark Sky Telescope Tour

The snowshoe adventure is always a fun way to enjoy Jasper's awesome "NATURE" Paula will choose the best area for the day depending on the snow and road conditions. This adventure includes snowshoes, poles, transportation to the snowshoe location and Paula's guidance. Let's enjoy some of Jasper's fluffy powder snow and awesome mountain scenery.

Trip includes you introduction to the dogs, orientation on how we hook up the "team" and how to drive the sled. On this tour you will cross a bridge over the frozen waters of Small River and climb up a long hill, where at the top you will do the big loop and get ready for the roller-coaster ride back down!
