Last stop is to see the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It’s a very touching and informative memorial to the 9/11 attacks and is build on the grounds of the former twin towers

If you have time, take the Circle Line Lady Liberty cruise to see the Statue of Liberty. You’ll also pass Ellis island and the Freedom Tower (One World Trade Center). Remember to pick up a voucher for the cruise in the advance and plan for about an hour for the tour.

Go to the Guggenheim museum to see some amazing modern art specially from artists like Calder, Kandinsky, Picasso, Van Gogh, and many more.

Take the Big Bus Sightseeing tour in order to quickly see these locations:

Empire State Building
SOHO/ Little Italy
Brooklyn Bridge/ City Hall
Wall Street/ Charging Bull
High Line
Madison Square Garden

For another birds-eye view of the city, go either to Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller building or go to 230 Fifth bar for a nice cocktail on the roof. You will enjoy the sun and views either way 😁

Spend some time at MoMA to see some of the greatest modern and contemporary art pieces in the world

Take some time and walk or bike around Central Park. There is more than enough to see but you can enjoy the southern part and walk up to the museum of modern art (MoMA)

From the Empire State Building walk off take the subway to Times Square. It’s just as amazing during the day as at nighttime but maybe plan to come back later in the day as well.

Go to the Empire State Building in order to learn about the history of the building. Make sure to get up to the Observatory on the 86th floor for some of the best views of the entire city!

Last day in the city I recommend for go for some shopping in SoHo or to East Village for some drinks and food. There is more than enough to do around there that will keep you busy all day

The New York City trip will get you seeing all of the important sights in Manhattan within a weekend. It’s too short to spend a lot of time doing everything but it’s a great first intro to the city.
