Relaxed by the pool and played with our host’s dog Belina

Explored Grohote which has a cute little downtown area and got some groceries

Went to the beach in Maslinica and took a swim

Drove to Maslinica (there is a bus if you don’t have a car) and ate the best Pizza I’ve ever had and this super yummy seafood risotto at Konoba Pizzeria Gajeta.

Ate and had cocktails at a restaurant called Antique which had sushi (including a super cool blue roll pictured above). It was delicious

Explored the historic area of Split which had so much to see

Drove then hiked to secret beach in the southern half of Šolta called Tatinja Bay which was absolutely breathtaking! It’s a private little cove with a pebble beach (bring water shoes)

It was raining today so we took the ferry to split and then Ubered to the mall of split (I don’t recommend bringing your car every time because the ferry is more expensive that way). The mall was huge and had so many stores!! We didn’t have time for everything but it was really fun and we also watched Bad Grandpa at the movies which was also in the mall.

Our AirBnB hosts Danijela and Mario took us to their little beach house at one of the secret beaches for the day and made us traditional food for lunch. It was so much fun, they are so kind (and so is their golden retriever Bellina)🦮

Went back to the house after Stomorska to go swimming in the pool and hang out with Bellina!!

Drove to Stomorska and walked around the cute little town. There wasn’t a ton to see but we brought lunch and had a picnic on the little beach they had there and had an awesome view as always!

Went out for dinner at the Konoba in Grohote (the town in Šolta where we were staying) and got black risotto and seafood pasta which was delicious.

Drove then hiked to another secret beach near the one where our hosts’ beach house was. This one was so awesome! We were the only ones there and we stayed until it was almost sunset (but not until sunset because the hike back would be dangerous in the dark).

Arrived at Krka and took a short ferry ride to the park which was full of incredible nature and waterfalls! You can no longer swim there but it was still very pretty.

Woke up bright and early to catch the ferry at 6AM to Split and drove to Krka national park! It is about an hour from the port.

For dinner, we had our hosts over to thank them for the lovely stay so far! We made fried rice and orange chicken and they brought very nice wine. It was a great time

Today we went to another secret beach! I know it seems like we do it a lot but it never gets old, there are so many to explore and they are all so unique and beautiful.

In the late afternoon, we took the ferry to split to have drinks and dinner. We started out with drinks and music by the water at Caffe Bar Dujam. Then we walked over to an Asian restaurant called Silk which had the most amazing food! We got these chicken skewers which were particularly awesome. We took the last ferry back to Šolta around 9PM.

Drove to Maslinica and went to Konoba Pizzeria Gajeta again because it is so delicious I cannot stress that enough!! Then we hung out on the beach there for a while and went for a swim.

We finished off the day at another secret beach and took some great pictures on the hike as well as down at the beach!

After lunch, I had made an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed because Danijela also does beauty services on the island.

Today we had a morning by the pool before going over to our host’s house for lunch where they served us traditional food again! They are so kind and we truly made life long friends on this trip.

We spent the rest of the day in Split just walking around after dropping our luggage off at the hotel. We got ice cream and got that great sushi from Antique again as well! We tried to go to the top of the church tower to see Split from above but couldn’t find the entrance! You should definitely go if you can. We also bought some beautiful paintings to bring home as gifts.

Today we left Šolta because there were no good ferry times to make it to our flight home the next morning. It was so sad to leave!!

This amazing trip to Split/Šolta was so incredible! Šolta truly has some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen and Split is so full of life and things to do. I would highly recommend taking this trip and staying with Danijela!😁
